French filmmaker Diop debuts immersive art installation in Paris

Alice Diop, director of the acclaimed film Saint Omer, has created her first installation work, Geste de Consolation, featuring contributions from female artists, writers, composers and poets. The multimedia exhibition is housed in the 60-metre central hall of the Palais d'Iéna in Paris and showcases Diop's curatorial vision bringing together women whose work inspires her.
